UPDATE: April 12, 2021
The Church Council continues to monitor the effects of the pandemic in Huron County and to update our worship and building guidelines as seems appropriate and safe. Current Council decisions are below.
BACK TO ‘NORMAL’
The Council decided that when Governor DeWine rescinds all health orders, we will no longer require masks or physical distancing in the building or in worship. Currently, the Governor’s benchmark is two consecutive weeks of 50 cases per 100,000 people in our state.
Our regular weekend worship schedule resumes April 17-18: 5:30 pm on Saturday and 8:00 and 10:30 am on Sunday, Masks and physical distancing will be required. We will resume singing (with masks) when Huron County enters a Level 2 (orange) in the state’s Public Health Advisory System.
We will continue to broadcast the 10:30 service on WLKR 95.3 and on the St. Peter Facebook page.
In-person Sunday for children of all ages resumes on April 18 at 9:15. All children will meet in the fellowship hall and there will be no separate classroom instruction. The children will rotate through different stations in the fellowship hall, similar to Vacation Bible School. There may also be outdoor activities, as the weather permits. Please have your child dress accordingly.
Youth (grades 7-12) Sunday school will also resume meeting in person. They will join the younger students in the fellowship hall for the beginning of the Sunday school hour and then move into the youth room for the remainder of the class.
Everyone should wear masks. We will also be practicing physical distancing.
Adult Sunday school will NOT be resuming—unless there is a volunteer to lead it. Contact Pastor Ann if you are willing to lead.
